ABV: 5% Look at the bottle! It’s an octagon for crying out loud. Big points already, although something that describes itself as a ‘Premium [insert region] beer’ is normally overstating….and Viru doesn’t disappoint. It’s light and easy on the palette and wholly forgettable. No wonder it was reduced to clear in Tesco.
Fun Fact: Did you know there are only 9 breweries in Estonia?
ABV: 4.8% My first Altbier. A little taste of winter with roasted caramel tones and a slightly sweet finish. Verrrry nice 8/10
ABV: 3% This was a little dessert beer, one for the girls. Low alcohol, very sweet. Once is enough. Enough now.
ABV: 4.7% A rather bland pils. Crisp with subtle hops but little finish.
Style – Weissbier
ABV – 5%
Available in most supermarkets.
Weissbier is the shit. It’s like dessert in a glass with a creamy texture. As I’m still learning the ropes with regards to proper taste analysis, that’s where I will leave it.

This was a tough one because there was no guarantee that a given pub would have a different drop at every one. I captured most….but not all.
